Aaron Camenisch
Camenisch Design Associates was founded in 2003 by Aaron Camenisch in Lexington, Kentucky. Aaron has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (BFA) with an emphasis in graphic design and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Integrated Strategic Communications (ISC) with an emphasis in creative marketing. Aaron has worked with the University of Kentucky College of Engineering and the Center for Visualization and Virtual Environments (Vis Center) since his graduation from the University of Kentucky College of Fine Arts in 2003. Over the years, Aaron has worked to build brand identities for businesses large and small such as EcoLox Dyes, AnnuLox Technologies, Benezet & Associates and Lexington Heart Specialists. He specializes in creative branding, print design, photography, illustration, 3D modeling and animation and residential architectural drafting.
While working at the University of Kentucky College of Engineering’s Center for Visualization and Virtual Environments (VisCenter), Aaron worked with Professor of Computer Science Ruigang Yang and his team or researchers at the Institute of Automation at the Chinese Academy of Sciences to help develop a proof of concept that demonstrated the ability to create realistic, view-dependent, 3D models of glasses through the use of high-resolution photography, UV texture mapping, specular highlights and ray tracing.
